With views of the Downtown Skyline to the east, and a sweeping panorama of mountains to west, Sloan Lake is a very popular and central location in the Denver area. This makes it an ideal location for anyone wanting to be “near it all” while living just west of downtown. An easy, 10 minute drive will bring you right to the city center at Union Station.
An Oasis in the City
The Sloan Lake neighborhood has the hustle and bustle of city life with massive Sloan’s Lake right at the heart of it all. It is surrounded by Lakewood, Edgewater, and the Wheat Ridge suburbs. The lake itself is the largest lake in Denver. Here, you can find the popular 2.6 mile bike and walking path around the entire lake. At 177 acres, Sloan’s Lake park is the second largest in Denver. It is the perfect spot for an early morning stroll, fishing adventure, or an afternoon picnic.
The surrounding neighborhoods consist of a variety of different style homes. As you stroll the streets, quaint brick bungalows, modern townhomes, luxury apartment complexes, and gigantic new-builds make up the scene. Living in Sloan’s Lake is great for anyone looking for a fast pace and convenient lifestyle. It is very popular among millennials and Gen Xers. The proximity to Highlands, LoHi, Jefferson Park, Mile High Stadium and other popular spots makes this location very desirable.
