Arvada is such an adorable quaint little area on the northwest side of Denver. Although it is quaint, its community and it’s popularity is continuing to grow rapidly. Olde Town Arvada is the heart of Arvada and the center of entertainment.
With it’s small town feel and beloved locally owned businesses, there are always events and activities for families to experience. This year check out these Arvada Colorado Holiday happenings.
Arvada, Colorado Holidays kick off the season with the Olde Town Tree lighting and Olde Town Gets Lit in Olde Town Square at 5:00pm on Saturday November 30th. Event includes: Pictures with Santa, Holiday Carols, the lighting of the tree and the holiday lights in the local stores will also be lit for the first time.
Breakfasts with Santa
The Arvada Apex Park and Recreation District hosts Cookies with Santa on Saturday December 7th at 9:00a. Event includes: an entertainment filled family breakfast with a visit from Santa, and opportunities to visit with him individually.
The School House Kitchen and Libations host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday December 15th from 10:30a-12:00p. Event includes: a breakfast and the opportunity to visit with Santa. (Reservations recommended)
Many people from Arvada also attend and encourage others to attend the Breakfast with Santa event in Evergreen with Arvada’s community and Chamber partner. The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce hosts Breakfast with Santa on Saturday November 30th from 9:00a-12:00p (4 different seating’s) at the Evergreen Lake house. This event sales out every year, so buying tickets in advance is recommended. Event includes: Pancake breakfast with live Chamber music, with the opportunity to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and take photos.
More Holiday Fun in Arvada
Saturdays with Santa start December 7th and continue on the 14th and 21st. This event includes a FREE opportunity to sit and talk to Santa. He will be in the North Pole sitting area surrounded by an Artesian Market with 25 vendors featuring unique holiday gifts.
Don’t miss the Lagniappe and Annual Cider and Egg Nog Competition in Olde Town from 5:00p-8:00p on Monday December 9th. Event includes: Annual Eggnog and Cider Competition, Carolers in the street, and businesses staying open late and offer special gifts with purchases.
The 3rd Annual Claus and Effect Christmas Toy Give-A-Way location TBD is on December 14th from 12:00p-3:00p. Event includes: Free admission, the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus and take pictures, games, merchandise for sale and raffled off prizes.
The Bluegrass Coffee and Bourbon Lounge
Holiday Wreath Workshop on Monday December 2nd at 6:00pm. Tickets required starting at $55. You’ll recieve materials and instruction on how to make your own hand-tied fresh holiday wreath. More than that, Christmas music, Christmas drinks and snacks will be offered for purchase along with regular full menu.
Christmas Sip and Paint
Noel Christmas Sip and Paint on Tuesday December 3rd at 6:00pm. Tickets required starting at $35. That event includes materials and instruction on how to paint and put together your LED light up canvas painting. In addition, each participant receives one Christmas cocktail, Christmas music, and Christmas . Also, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase along with regular full menu. Christmas Karaoke to follow the class.
