OK. Every Realtor touts Denver as the best city. So, who am I to be more believable?
Well, I grew up in Denver; moved away from Denver; came back home to Denver. What I know about our beautiful city is that it offers something for everyone. It certainly drew me back. It turns out that old saying is true: “The grass really isn’t greener on the other side of the hill”. But, in this case the our grass is even better than it was when I left.
We who embrace great food, perfect climate, endless trails, popular shopping venues, exciting nightlife, history, and culture
will find themselves right at home here. The Colorado mountains offer winter recreation that never ends. If you haven’t been to Vail, Aspen, Snowmass, Breckenridge, Steamboat, or Beaver Creek it should be next on your “to do” list. There are so many opportunities for a last minute getaway and amazing online deals that can put you in the heart of it all.
Then there is the shopping…the shopping…the shopping! Starting right downtown at the 16th Street Mall. Denver offers sophisticated and popular options at Cherry Creek North Shopping District, Cherry Creek Shopping Center, Park Meadows, Flat Irons Mall, and Antique Row on Broadway. I find myself excited to suggest great restaurants daily to those visiting and those who call Denver home! So many of us live and work here, let us start enjoying the talents that our Denver kitchens have to offer. Cherry Creek Grill, Mizuna, Julia Blackbird’s New Mexican Café, Sushi Uokura, Snooze (best pancakes in town!!!), and so many more.
I have listed a few websites below that offer a plethora of information and insight to all our community has for us to enjoy.
Larry, if you left and went back it says a lot. When I recently went on vacation I left and didn’t want to go back home. 🙂
