No, It’s not the local Pradera Realtor in the bunny suit last year. But, I did take the photograph.
My Pradera neighborhood is gearing up for the start of spring, golf course opening and Easter! With Spring right around the corner, residents are starting to stir and prepare for getting their landscaping in order.
Sprinkler systems are being checked out, lawnmowers started after a long winter’s sleep and fertilizer is being stocked up. Everyone is watching the weather which has already hit the 70’s to determine the start of Spring activities in our active Parker community.
The golf course has had an unusually high number of rounds played so far this year due to the mild weather. Despite the two recent snow storms and a bit of cold weather, the course expects to re-open March 16th in time for a full weekend of “spanking whitey.” The club members are rearing to get to the first tee box.

The local Parker Easter bunny will visit Pradera again for our neighborhood festivities.
The 5th Annual Photos with the Easter Bunny” will be held on Easter morning at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, March 31st at The Club at Pradera. The Club at Pradera will serve an Easter Champagne Brunch with hot, cold and dessert stations. Dotson and Pam Skaggs of The Kentwood Company are sponsoring free professional “Photos with the Easter Bunny” and treats for all children of Pradera who attend.
This is fifth year Pam and I have sponsored this fun and exciting event. If you have any questions regarding this year’s “Photos with the Easter Bunny,” please contact Dotson Skaggs using the form below. We are thrilled to be able to live at Pradera. And, it gets even more exciting as Easter ususally signals the beginning of spring and the annual golf season. While we do not golf often, we love the activities that surround the Club at Pradera during the golf season. It just makes our neighborhood that much more fun.
Held at the golf clubhouse in the lower level, it coincides with the Easter Brunch in the main dining hall for club members. The Easter Brunch is always a special occasion with an even better than normal Sunday brunch. Everybody has a great time.
Pradera is looking great and should be fantastic when the landscaping starts to bud out. Last year Pradera looked its best ever, and this year is expected to be even better.
