Welcome to Krisana Park in Denver, Colorado. Krisana Park is located within the larger neighborhood formally known as Virginia Village. Popular, mid-centry homes tend be located in the Krisana Park sub-division. Proximity to the amenities of Washington Park and Bonnie Brae neighborhoods adds to the desirability.

Krisana Park is home to 175 mid-century modern houses.  Initially, this neighborhood was originally variations of the same 1200 square feet.  However, as families grew and people needed more space, homeowners in this area started to expand their homes’ footprints.  One of the covenants of Krisana Park is that you cannot build up; you can only build outward.

Many fans of mid-century modern homes like to keep within the style by purchasing mid-century modern furniture.  Mod Livin’ is a fabulous mid-century modern furniture store in the Park Hill neighborhood.  Next, Meredith and Elizabeth visit the owner of Mod Livin’, Craig Troyer, and learn about this fantastic landmark.

Craig came to work at Mod Livin’ over four years ago after working for many years for big-box retailer Target.  He has always had a passion for mid-modern furniture.  Also, Craig attributes the fantastic, loyal customers store’s prolonged success.  Recently, in June 2021, Craig bought Mod Livin’ from the founders and plans to keep it the same, incredible store that has been thriving for 20 years in the Park Hill Neighborhood.
