Kentwood Brand Logo “Refreshed”

December 19, 2018 By Larry Hotz, Kentwood Real Estate Leave a Comment

New Kentwood Real Estate logo

The new Kentwood Real Estate logo replaces the traditional sign below.

My firm, The Kentwood Real Estate Company, just announced a “refresh” of it’s classic Kentwood brand logo. The Kentwood brand has been respected on real estate sign and marketing in the Denver real estate community since 1981.

The Kentwood logo and brand reflect the company’s long-held values of quality service to consumers and the industry. They also reflect the exceptional caliber of the listings it represents. It’s a luxury brand, an ethical brand and a quality brand.

This was the traditional Kentwood Logo.

Kentwood Logo Refresh Led By Local Design Firm

Studio Mast

Travis LeDue and Jacob Treyhan of Studio Mast

Gretchen Faber, the recently appointed chief executive officer at Kentwood Real Estate, asked the management team to collaborate with the Studio Mast design firm to update our brand image.

The results were announced at an All Company Meeting held last Wednesday at the Willshire golf club in Denver.

Over 200 agents and staff attended the breakfast meeting and were treated to a full presentation by Travis LeDue and Jacob Treyhan of Studio Mast. They explained how they it attempted to keep the deep history and tradition of the Kentwood culture and bring it up to date in a more timeless style.

Many of us long time Kentwood agents were concerned that we might lose the visual symbol which is so long typified the Kentwood Company. That’s the deep, forest green tree symbol in the middle of the Kentwood sign and most of our promotional and advertising materials. Good news! The symbol of the evergreen tree survived the update and is still the centerpiece of the Kentwood logo.

Kentwood Mission

Studio Mast incorporated the Kentwood Mission Statement in to the new design.

The colors have changed on the Kentwood logo.  Modern lime green coloring has replaced the traditional forest green. And, the typeface is also more modern. These changes have been mixed met with mixed reviews among our agents. But, real estate agents are not necessarily experts in marketing and advertising.

The firm employed a first rate and well respected local marketing firm to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the existing Kentwood logo and brand. They did an exhaustive study of the company history and its aspirations with our existing management team including Gretchen Faber.New Kentwood Brand

Luxury Denver Real Estate

Travis LeDue and Jacob Treyhan of Studio Mast presented the new Kentwood logo and brand at an All-Company Breakfast last week.

Many agents were excited and pleased with the new look of the Kentwood brand and logo. They thought that thebrand was a little dated and maybe even a little stuffy. Some of those comments came up right after the breakfast meeting last week. A few long-term Kentwood Real Estate Company agents were little disappointed. They thought the lime green that replaced the deep, forest green might convey less of a “luxury” feel. After all, the sheer volume of luxury real estate sales differentiates us and most of our competition.

While luxury real estate has been the calling card of the Kentwood Company since 1981, quality listings and service spreads across all price ranges. The company continues to excel in Denver relocation services to corporation and individuals at all price ranges. And, the distinctive Kentwood yard sign has always been a mark of prestige for homes in all price ranges. And, our award-winning Kentwood brokers have traditionally more homes 98% of all agents at the highest level of Ethicacy.

Kentwood Sells Distinctive Homes

The fact is that Kentwood continues to have a dominant market share especially in the luxury real estate markets such as Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village and luxury communities within Denver typified by the Denver Country Club, Hilltop, Cherry Creek and Bonnie Brae. But, our brokers also sell in more affordable and upcoming markets like Highlands, Stapleton and RiNo. In addition, suburban listings cover the gamut from Lakewood to Highland Ranch and Castle Pines.

So, Kentwood Real Estate  is more than a brand or logo for a particular price range. It is a brand for particular people. They want to buy or sell home efficiently, ethically and easily with the highest level of expert service.
