When Denver relocation buyers asked me what are the best Denver suburbs for luxury homes, I have to explain that beauty is in the eye of the holder. We have lots of fantastic neighborhoods. Some are gated communities. Others are more typical suburban communities. Some feel like living in the Colorado mountains. But, Greenwood Village is a good example of all of these different styles. In addition, Greenwood Village offers horse properties with access to horse trails to tie into the 110 mile-long South suburban trail system. This can be a great opportunity for equestrians.

Luxury Homes and Mansions
Greenwood Village has many custom homes built by Denver’s best builders. These are often on larger lots from 1 to 2.5 acres in neighborhoods such as Greenwood Hills.
Some of these home are even zoned for horses. Because, they have easy access to the nearby South Suburban trail system. These homes sell generally from $1.5 million to $4m.
Greenwood Village Subdivisions
Home buyers find more affordable homes in more typical subdivision. For example, The Hills at Cherry Creek and Sundance Hills offer lovely homes at affordable prices. Prices can range from $400,000-$1m.
These homes were generally built on ¼ to ½ are lots between 1970 and 2000. Of course, the homes that have been remodeled or have views of mountains f or water sell at the top end of the price range.
Luxury Home Amenities
Public swimming pools and parks abound throughout Greenwood Village. Some are provided by the by the city and some by local community associations. Cherry Creek State Park is a popular destination for swimming and boating on the cherry Creek reservoir. There’s even an extensive trail system and dog park there to.
Sometimes, relocation buyers moving into the area choose Greenwood Village because of the local schools. The cherry Creek public school district ranks among the top in the state. And, private schools are popular as well. Can’t Denver, in nearby Cherry Hills, is a popular choice for middle and high school. A portion of Greenwood Village falls within the Littleton school district. That district also boasts several blue ribbon award winning schools.
All in all, Greenwood Village is a popular Denver suburb for locals and Denver relocation buyers alike. It offers easy commuting downtown or to the Denver Tech Center. And, the quality of life here is truly exceptional.
