This is the third article in my series about Denver’s best neighborhoods for luxury real estate. Today, I’d like to focus on Castle Pines in Denver’s South suburbs.
The largest and most expensive custom homes in Castle Pines are found Castle Pines Village. Those homes can range from $1 million-$3 million. Some new homes can be even more expensive. These are the largest and most customized homes in Castle Pines.
Castle Pine Village Luxury Homes

Castle Pines luxury real estate in The Village is truly unmatched for the combination of true custom masterpieces and the Rocky Mountain atmosphere. It’s complete with quiet winding roads and Ponderosa pines and scrub oak between many of the homes. Castle Pines Village incorporates two golf courses in Castle Rock, Colorado.
The Castle Pines Golf Club is an exclusive, invitation-only country club with limited membership and unlimited luxury. Roughly ½ of the membership consists of locals living in an air Castle Pines which. The other members live across the country and the world. They include celebrities, sports stars and simply the ultra-rich.
Castle Pines Village is a gated community with access limited by security guards at five different gates. The security force at Castle Pines Village also responds to alarms in some of the homes. The homes in Castle Pines Village have commercial sprinkler systems required. Because, the indigenous pine trees in natural vegetation could be dangerous in the event of a forest fire. Fortunately, there’s never been such an incident Castle Pines.

Castle Pines, Colorado – The Town
Castle Pines, Colorado is a newly incorporated some are located directly north of Castle Pines Village. It is not a gated community but still has many luxury homes. In addition, Castle Pines also has more typical suburban subdivisions built by production builders. The custom homes there sell between 1 million – $2 million. The subdivision homes typically sell from $400,000 – $1 million.
The Ridge Golf Club at Castle Pines, Colorado is a public course that offers seasonal memberships to residents and nonresidents like. Like the two country club courses in Castle Pines Village, it’s a mountain course that meanders through rolling foothills and tall pines. The reasonable fees here attract golfers from throughout the South suburban region. But, it’s not exactly a country club. It’s just an excellent golf course.
Castle Pines Colorado Inc. in 2000 as its own town. Previously, it had been located in unincorporated Douglas County. Families with school age children in Castle Pines often seek out the highly-rated public schools. Another popular public school is Academy Charter School. It attracts students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. It is a Douglas county public school like nearby Lone Tree Elementary School is also a charter school within Douglas County.
There are lots public parks and swimming pools throughout Castle Pines open to local residents. Locals also take advantage of Castle Pines Shopping Market.
