One of the things I appreciate most about the Kentwood Company is that everything is always done in a first-class manner. The same was certainly true For the Kentwood Awards Dinner which was recently held at the prestigious Denver Country Club.
I was delighted to join over 30 agents from all three offices of The Kentwood Companies who were recognized for their outstanding sales contributions during 2007. Each of the agents sold more than $10 million worth of real estate during the year.

The Kenwood Companies have historically been recognized for having the highest average sales per agent in the metropolitan area. This was recently confirmed in a story appearing in The Denver Business Journal. Average sales per agent were pegged at more than $12 million for my office at the Denver Tech Center.
The dinner was a lavish affair beginning with cocktails served on the veranda overlooking the picturesque 18 hole golf course at the Denver Country Club. Agents, their spouses and management mingled for more than an hour before adjourning to the main dining room for a sumptuous five course meal.
After dinner, Kentwood Company Managing Broker, John Fitzpatrick, emceed a 20 minute program introducing the honorees. John made frequent inside jokes many of which cannot be repeated here. Let’s just say Mr. Fitzpatrick has a quick wit and a ribald sense of humor. He’s rarely left without the last word and usually has a audience laughing with him at every turn.
In his serious remarks, John remarked that this group consisted of most of the best sales people in Denver and many that have been recognized nationwide. New Kentwood Owner, Peter Niederman, agreed that he is privileged to be associated with such a highly productive and extremely ethical group of real estate agents. His partner, Bill Moore, also attended the event and mingled with many of his old-time friends.
It’s hard to describe in words. But there is something about the Kentwood Company that transcends just the business. The special evening hosted by the new owners of the Kentwood company at the Denver country club was just a reminder of how lucky we all are to be associated with such a fine firm and talented management.
