Tennyson Street in Berkeley Neighborhood of downtown Denver offers shopping, eating, art and fun in a quaint 8 block urban area.
I recently spent some time in the Berkeley neighborhood showing homes to one of my clients looking to buy their first home. During our time exploring the area, I started to see why so many people love this area. There are a variety of different style homes lining the streets. Brick bungalows, modern new builds, and bohemian style homes all add to the richness of the neighborhood.
But, Tennyson street in the Berkeley neighborhood is a really special spot that stands out to me and plenty of other Denverites. It’s a charming span of 8 blocks tucked away in the Northwest part of Denver in the Berkeley neighborhood. Now, I love this area because it’s such a vibrant and unique part of town that is also rich in history.
The buildings lining Tennyson street still have some of the same historical charm they did in 1863 when the area was first founded. Combined with updated restaurants and yoga studios, it’s no wonder Tennyson street is such a popular area to explore, work and live. There are also several opportunities to catch a glimpse of local artwork and graffiti art scattered among the buildings! There’s even a dog park nearby.
