Can you believe that we are already in October and Halloween is just a week away?? With Denver’s weather still hitting a consistent 80 degrees, the short sleeves and flip flops have been out in full force in Denver Lowry neighborhood. But don’t be fooled, the leaves are changing and Halloween activities are right around the corner! Get your costumes ready because you won’t want to miss Halloween in Lowry! As of now, there are two formal events that are being advertised. Some of the many perks about living in Lowry are the fantastic community-wide events…from picnics and concerts in the parks to wonderful events in the heart of the Town Center, Lowry has something for you!
On Saturday, October 29th there will be a “Lowry Halloween Event”. The neighbors at Lowry want you to: Save the date for Lowry’s annual Halloween Event in the Lowry Town Center @ 2nd & Quebec. Trick or Treat at the Lowry Town Center shops and enjoy lots of kids’ activities and fun. More details coming soon! Check back the Lowry Town Center Halloween Event page for frequent updates and more details to come!
The second event that Lowry is proud to announce is the annual Hauntings at the Hangar Halloween event. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than all the rest! This annual event has gained momentum throughout the years and happens to be the highlight of the season for patrons.
One event goer stated, “Jill: This is absolutely one of my favorite events of the year. The photo of my son with R2-D2 from 2 years ago is still on my desk. You’re not likely to find a museum run by a nicer group of people who are so interested in sharing their passion with kids. The Star Wars Pilots, Jedi, & Stormtroopers are all wonderful. These folks come out in costume to see each other, but they really enjoy the attention from the kids”.
Come join the fun on Sunday, October 30th from Noon to 4 for a boorific good time at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum! There will be your favorite characters from Star Wars, Star Trek, Star Gate, comic books, and movies! As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be games, activities, and LOTS of candy to get you all hyped up! Oh, and don’t forget the always popular costume parade!
Whether you live in Lowry or just come here to play, come join the Lowry community on Saturday, Sunday or both and we look forward to seeing who has the best costume out there!! Happy Halloween!!
