A Medical Doctor is behind new Cherry Creek healthy food restaurant.
One of the joys of living in Cherry Creek North is the walkability! Amongst galleries, coffee shops and boutiques, Cherry Creek welcomed a new incredible restaurant, True Food Kitchen. At first glance, this might look like any other restaurant, but stop in during their lunch or dinner rush and you will see the packed kitchen and begin to believe the hype for yourself!

The Cherry Creek neighborhood has a new, real heath food restaurant. Fair warning: It can get crowded!
The team behind True Food Kitchen comes from a small Phoenix-based chain and developed its menu in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil, the doctor and holistic health advocate who heads the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
You might also know him from his days working with Oprah and let me tell you, he hasn’t lost his touch! The Fox Restaurant Concepts group made True Food Kitchen become a reality and it has lived up to its name! Their concept is Seasonal, Sustainable, Simple and Pure and they deliver on all accounts.
If you can get past the wait, the food is well worth it. Sure, you can start with a Kale-Aid drink or fresh carrot juice, but you also have the option of wine and beer. Everything on the menu is organic and caters to those who might be vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. Not only can they cater the menu to your diet, but also everything that comes out of the kitchen looks and tastes incredible.
I have been to True Food at least a dozen times and even though it is tempting to go back to my favorites, I try to order something new each time. For starters, the edamame dumplings are to die for! They are light, yet packed with flavor and served in a mushroom broth. Big enough to share for an appetizer but you will be fighting over who gets the last bite!
The turkey burger is another favorite of mine. It comes with sides and I chose to do half kale and half baked sweet potatoes…unbelievable flavor! Not only does it taste delicious, but also comes out of the kitchen on a plate with bright oranges and greens and the colors jump of the plate! The visual appeal is followed by your palate jumping up and down in your mouth! And these are just a few of the dishes that I enjoy…others include but are not limited to the Grass Fed Bison Burger, Tuscan Kale salad, Mediterranean Chopped Salad (with grilled salmon), and Spaghetti Squash Casserole. Seriously, you can’t pick just one. So, go with a few friends, get a few different dishes and be prepared to share! You won’t regret it!

This place sounds amazing. Hope they make their way to Orlando soon! The Bison burger sounds fantastic!
