Westminster is a suburb of Denver located in the Northwest corridor. It is located along US 36, the main road between Denver and Boulder. The southern section of the city is next to “The Highlands” in Denver, a renovated historic area. But, the northern section of Westminster has a more suburban flavor. Additionally, that section is in Adams County which lacks highly-rated public schools. The south section of Westminster is in Jefferson County.
