The Denver Country Club neighborhood is located just west of the fashionable Cherry Creek shopping center and neighborhood. This area extends from Speer Boulevard North to 6th Avenue and from Downing Street East to Oak Street. The heart of the Country Club area is Country Club Place. It is a subdivision between Franklin and Race Streets. It was designed by William and Arthur Fisher, who worked with prominent Boston architect Frederic Law Olmsted Jr. in 1909. Only 380 homes comprise this magnificent neighborhood, which is still inhabited by many of Denver’s most social and politically elite.
Current Denver Country Club Homes For Sale
The large sprawling lots, historic homes, and proximity to both the actual Denver Country Club and the Cherry Creek fashion mall make this area one of the most exclusive areas in Denver. Wide, tree-lined streets add to the elegant atmosphere.
Homes here start at $1.5 for those in need of updating or repair. Grand, fully remodeled homes start at $2.5m. The adjacent subdivision of Country Club North provides a less expensive alternative. Homes are often sold without being submitted to the multiple listing service. Good, local brokers “just know” who is thinking about selling and can make transactions privately. Many sellers think this process is more discreet. Call us to discuss how this works in more detail.
