Louisville, Colorado
Louisville, Colorado
Located 6 miles east of Boulder, this town of approximately 19,000 residents just made MONEY Magazines top-five list of places to live in the United States for the second time since 2005. Coming in third this year out of 100 cities was quite a compliment.
Louisville was incorporated in 1982 and established by coal miners working the local mines. The main street of the town still reflects the wide variety of nationalities that founded the town in the restaurant names. You will find summer festivals and activities throughout the summer geared towards family entertainment. There is a mix of turn-of-the century charm in the close in neighborhoods and custom homes built around the Coal Creek Golf Course. It’s close proximity to the FlatIrons Mall, which boasts one of three Colorado Nordstrom’s, and Interlocken Business Park and, in addition, the outstanding Boulder County schools, makes it a very desirable place to live.
