Meet Paula Davidson King, Niwot, Erie and Broomfield

Growing up in rural Ohio, I couldn’t wait to escape to the big city of Los Angeles. After 25 years of all that a big city offered, I came back to my roots – small town Colorado.

My family and I have been living in Boulder County for the last 6 years, having moved here from the southern suburbs of Denver. And it is a wonderful fit. We love the mountain views of Longs Peak, the quaint mining towns and open spaces.

When I moved to California, I was star struck. I immediately put my administrative skills, which I honed at the University of Kentucky, to good use and worked in or around the film industry until 1976, when I discovered real estate. I met my husband, who was a fellow Realtor, in 1980 and our son was born in 1985. In California, I was very involved, and a founding board member of, Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times, which was one of the first camps for children and families of children with cancer, as well as President of the First Christian Church Nursery School, Vice President of the Carpenter Avenue PTA and school volunteer. After coming to Colorado, I have participated in the AIDS walk, Bolder Boulder and volunteered at Dressed For Success.

I love real estate. I take a personal interest in my clients and many of them have become extremely close friends throughout my career. With all the internet sites and cyber feeds out there, clients still need to know they have a human being that is taking care of them and watching out for them. I am proud of the repeat business and referrals I have attained and the exceptional customer satisfaction.

I specialize in the Boulder County area and northern suburbs of Denver. Having recently lived in Niwot and currently living in Erie, I am part of the community. The eastern portion of Boulder County is expanding tremendously, while the Boulder area remains protected by open space, with homeowners expanding and updating existing properties.

For the past 7 years I have been associated with the Kentwood Company, one of the premier real estate offices in the nation. Even though I now have a bit of a commute, I can’t imagine working anywhere else. The respect this company demands makes me proud to be a member of this firm.
