Meet Lon Welsh

Lon Welsh is the founder and managing broker of Your Castle Real Estate (YCRE). He’s a Certified Residential Specialist (the top 4% of Realtors nationally) and a Certified Commercial Investment Manager. The YCRE team has 150 Realtors spanning metro Denver and supports investment buyers of inexpensive properties through high end listings.
He is the father of three children who attend elementary school in the Cherry Creek school district in Greenwood Village. He graduated from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt. He spent a few years in corporate finance for a Fortune 100, followed by eight years of strategy consulting with Deloitte and Touche, then Arthur Andersen.

Lon and his team have sold hundreds of homes and investments properties across the metro area. He is a frequent contributor to the Denver Post, the Denver Business Journal, and the six Realtor Association newsletters in the metro Denver. He used to host a radio show on real estate investing and still gives one or two presentations a week to various groups on real estate topics.
Much of Lon’s business is repeat business. ”I enjoy taking the time to really understand my client’s needs,” Lon says. ”When we can combine a strong working relationship with deep market knowledge, we can find the best property for their unique requirements.”
Lon is a Director for the Denver Board of Realtors and teaches Continuing Education to Realtors throughout Colorado in addition to managing his personal real estate practice and his real estate company.
