Crocs In Niwot
by Paula King, Niwot Real Estate Expert
About a year ago, Crocs started recycling their scraps “created during the manufacturing process,” according to the Boulder Daily Camera. These shoes were distributed by Brother’s Brother Foundation in Pittsburgh and sent around the world to places in South America, Africa and Asia. People who had no shoes, now had the hottest shoe trend of the year. It has reduced foot injury, infections and they can now walk farther distances without having sore feet. Ninety thousand pairs of shoes were shipped in January.
Now, SolesUnited is offering the public the opportunity to donate their old crocs. Many of the stores that carry Crocs are on board. So, just ask before you throw that old pair out.
Crocs corporate office is based in Niwot, a sleepy town of about 3500 soles (who in Niwot doesn’t have Crocs?).
