Most people think that Stapleton is a Mecca for young professionals with 2.2 kids and a dog.Or, maybe you think it of only a place for young, single people. Or, maybe you think only Denver relocation buyers live there.
Stapleton appeals to many demographics for many different reasons. I recently began helping a couple moving to Stapleton to be closer to their daughter and granddaughter. Their family lives in neighboring Park Hill which is known as a quiet residential neighborhood with a somewhat aging population. They love Park Hill, but don’t love the price tag or the thought of an expensive and extensive remodel at this stage in their lives.
Stapleton, like the rest of Denver, has world-class parks
In the 4 years that I’ve been a Stapleton resident, I‘ve seen the pendulum swing from the young family to the young family’s family. Baby boomers are moving to Stapleton to be closer to their kids and grandkids. Singles who prefer new construction and the Stapleton price-point are flocking to the neighborhood too. Everywhere you go, you meet Stapleton boosters who’ve moved here for a myriad of reasons.
Stapleton offers 9 different choices for builders. Choose from contemporary architecture to traditional New England style homes. Or from a single family home to a multifamily home with no yard maintenance at all. Prices range from $100’s to $1,000,000+.

Stapleton is also well known for extensive parks, a trail system and community pools. You’ll find greenways, pocket parks, a dog park and The Central Park – Denver’s 3rd largest park. The trail system is comprised of 25 miles of pathway and links with The Sand Creek Trail.
There are 3 pools located throughout the neighborhood with a 4th pool in the works.
The Town Center is home to great restaurants as well as a bookstore, yoga studio, doggie wash/supply store and many other services. While the restaurants consist of some chains, (Chipotle, Einstein Bros., Starbucks, Noodles & Company), there are also non-chain restaurants such as Blue Fin Sushi and The Berkshire.
The developer has plans to build a 2nd Town Center on the eastern edge of Stapleton in the near future. The Stapleton residents have requested that this Town Center be outfitted with more unique restaurants and chains.

Wow- sounds like quite a development, how has it been affected by the recession? Sound gorgeous. I have had a Denver relo the last two years, and recently had two clients looking at Charlotte and Denver of all things. Time will tell where they wind up.
