Seller’s Markets Appear Overnight
I agree with Doug Hutchins’ article from last week. Buyers cannot find what they want in many areas around Denver. Prices are rising and good homes are selling very quickly and at prices near or even above asking prices. Smart Sellers are putting their homes on the market NOW!

HGTV Green Home Boosts Stapleton Sales
With newspaper real estate advertising declining, what does sell new homes? The developer of Stapleton in Denver and its builders tell me that cable television’s HGTV annual Green Home Giveaway Contest dramatically increased home sales at Stapleton’s Central Park this year. How did that happen?

Kentwood Company Hosts Annual Agent Retreat
It’s the legacy of an exceptional real estate company with Denver’s top performing Realtors. I just returned from The Kentwood Company two-day mountain retreat in the Vail Valley. This may be the last of company sponsored retreats for the education and bonding of its agents.

Corporate Denver Relocation Pitfalls

Relocation buyers have to deal with sometimes petty bureaucrats and “bottom of the barrel” Realtors. The Corporation’s relocation company often dictates the services the transferee receives. This relocation buyer has [...]
Denver Ranks #3 in Case-Shiller
The Denver real estate market continued to out pace all but 2 of the nations top 20 metro areas in home prices according to the Case-Shiller index released today. It sounds good except that even that resulted in a decrease of 2.5% in average home prices compared to June 2010. So, why can’t I get [...]
Richmond Homes Turns Cautious
David Mandarich, Co-Founder and President of Denver-based MDC Richmond Homes, one of America’s largest homebuilders, spoke at my Kentwood Company Sales Meeting yesterday. Calling new home starts at “depression levels”, he said that builders are coping with the real estate market by building smaller homes and eliminating spec homes.

Denver Market Heats Up
The Denver real estate market has been hot during the last 60 days. We’ve been so busy that we have hardly had time to post on this blog. I was beginning to wonder if it was only our team at All Denver Real Estate or if the whole market was as busy as we’ve been. [...]
Finally, Affordable Patio Homes at RidgeGate
Last week, I was excited to meet with the management of Pulte Homes to discuss a new project they are planning at RidgeGate Town Center and Lone Tree. I was excited because they will be offering brand-new, upscale patio homes at an extraordinary price point for the area. The community will be called Montecito at [...]
